Captures the visible area of the tab and opens this editor with the image and page address already filled in. Sources live in the repository under extension/flagram-screenshot; install it via chrome://extensions → developer mode → “Load unpacked”.

A screenshot straight from a system utility rarely works for a deck or an ad post: it is cropped at the window edge, sits on a white background and does not match the format of the platform. The Flagram screenshot beautifier fixes that on a single screen — it wraps the image in a light or dark browser mockup with an address bar, puts a gradient background or your own color underneath, sets the shadow, corner radius, rotation and padding, then exports a PNG in the aspect ratio you need: 16:9 for presentations, 1.91:1 (1200×630) for Open Graph and link previews, 1:1 and 4:5 for the feed, 9:16 for stories. Everything is rendered right in the browser via canvas — the file is never uploaded to a server. How do I add a browser frame to a screenshot?
Load the image and pick a frame — light or dark — in the “Screenshot” section. The picture is wrapped in a browser window with traffic lights and an address bar you can type any URL into. The “No frame” option keeps the raw screenshot but still applies the background, shadow and rounded corners.
Is my screenshot uploaded to a server?
No. The image is processed locally in your browser using canvas: the file never leaves your computer and is never sent anywhere. That makes the editor safe for internal tools and work screens with sensitive data.
How do I round the corners and add a shadow?
Use the “Corners” and “Shadow” sliders in the “Screenshot” section — the corner radius and shadow depth are set separately and apply to the screenshot together with its frame. Next to them are “Rotation” for a slight tilt and “Padding” for the gap between the screenshot and the canvas edge.
Which formats fit social networks?
16:9 (1920×1080) — presentations and video covers. 1.91:1 (1200×630) — link previews in social networks and messengers, the Open Graph standard. 1:1 (1200×1200) and 4:5 (1080×1350) — feed posts. 9:16 (1080×1920) — stories and vertical formats.
How do I make an OG image for a link preview?
Pick the 1.91:1 format — the canvas becomes 1200×630, the size Open Graph expects, and the screenshot is fitted into it with the background and padding you set. Export the PNG and use it as og:image; the preview will look the same in social networks and messengers.
How do I add a screenshot to the editor?
Three ways: drag the file into the workspace, pick it with the button, or paste it from the clipboard with Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on macOS). The Flagram Chrome extension captures the tab and opens the editor with the frame already loaded.
What does the 2× export mode do?
It exports at double resolution. The image stays sharp on Retina displays and in print, and survives being scaled down inside a presentation. The file size grows roughly fourfold.
Can I make the background transparent?
Yes, the background palette includes a “Transparent” option. The PNG is saved with an alpha channel, so a screenshot with its frame and shadow can be placed on any backdrop in a presentation or graphics editor.
